I hope you don’t mind that I posted this all as one, and of course you know this is to you. My biggest advice to you is to not be too proud to be in love. Everyone gets hurt, but everyone who takes a chance with their heart benefit from their risks as well. Heartbreak is inevitable and it’s a part of life. It sucks, of course, but everyone experiences it. I almost didn’t but that god-awful Dumbledore decided to disrespect his woman. But now look, I’m happily in love with my wonderful husband Firenze!
Second, if you’re feelings came back, they never really left to begin with. They were always there, but them “coming back” is caused from the sparks of hope you get when you talk to him. If this has been going back and forth for a while, I suggest giving it a try. Nothing is more frustrating than wondering what if.
Third, don’t hold him to what happened before you graduated forever. People grown and change! Everyone deserves a second chance!
And fourth, you seem to trust him enough to give a lot of thought into you’re situation concerning him. Also, you reached out for help (from the smarterest Mama ever!), so just by doing that you show that you’re serious about this! Which is great!
In my opinion, you should take a chance and try your best to make yourself happy. If it doesn’t work out, you can at least say you went for it and tried. :)
